Deep emotional electronica, live instrumentation and a magical visual narrative captured at the precise sunset of the summer solstice 2026

THE SÖLAR presents Set Me Free, the first single from an upcoming body of work and the starting point of a new musical and visual identity. The song opens a chapter in which emotions , electronic music, live performance and imagery converge within the same artistic core universe.

Set Me Free inhabits the moment where past and future meet. The song speaks of leaving fear behind, rediscovering trust and surrendering to the possibility of beginning again. Love emerges as a force capable of transforming memory into momentum, restoring meaning to the present and opening the way towards a new life.

Freedom is not portrayed as an escape, but as the decision to let go of doubt and everything that prevents us from moving forward.

An emotional and immersive sound

Musically, Set Me Free combines vocals, vibrant analogue synthesisers, atmospheric textures, electronic sequences and live instrumentation. Its progressive development creates an intense and immersive sonic experience, where the sensitivity of the composition meets the energy of live performance.

Electronic music is not just a rhythmic foundation, but as a narrative element that brings depth, tension and movement. The result preserves the emotional intensity at the heart of THE SÖLAR and carries it into a contemporary, expansive and cinematic language.

Set Me Free was recorded and produced by THE SÖLAR and Henry Sarmiento at Sonic Vista Studios in Ibiza.

A story shaped through light

The music video was conscious filmed at the sunset on the 2026 summer solstice. The unique moment were natural transformation of the light follows the song’s emotional journey and becomes a fundamental part of its narrative.

The transition from light into darkness represents the end of one chapter and the possibility of a new beginning. The vastness of the landscape, the musicians’ performances and the aerial imagery create a refined, Lunar cinematic visual piece in which music, Universe , nature and the human experience become part of the same whole.

The performance features José Travé Auñón on vocals, Jesús Serrano on keyboards and samples, and Pablo Arellano on drums and samples, bringing the project’s organic character and hybrid nature to the screen.

Through a progressive evolution towards electronic music, the project brings together vocals, live instrumentation, synthesisers and electronic production within a shared language.
